ConstEdit Word Processor 1.4 is available

NEW YORK - March 4, 2020 - PRLog -- This update regroups some of the menu items to simplify the main toolbar, and also delivers quite a few fixes and enhancements.

•     Added. 3 more new shortcut keys.
•     Changed. Image, Audio, Video and Figure menu items are merged under a single menu.
•     Changed. Link, Footnote, Bookmark menu items are merged under a single menu.
•     Changed. Comment menu items are moved to Text Menu.
•     Changed. Section Menu is merged with Doc Menu.
•     Changed. Sections Structure Dialog is moved to the merged Doc and Section Menu.
•     Changed. Sections Structure Dialog window is now slightly translucent.
•     Fixed. Doc content underneath the dialog window could not scroll successfully to the processed section in some cases in Sections Structure Dialog
•     Fixed. The numbering of sub-sections could become incorrect in some cases after the doc sections structure is changed.
•     Changed. "Copy Current Section" is moved to Sections Structure Dialog; it now copies the current section and then inserts the copied section as a new section right after the current one.
•     Changed. Editing actions behavior is changed for Ctrl+Left / Right and Ctrl+Del.
•     Fixed. Auto-Capitalization and Auto-Convert actions for words immediately followed by a punctuation mark was not performed.
•     Changed. Some minor improvements to Auto-Capitalization.
•     Changed. Sentence Case now capitalizes for the closest previous non-capitalized sentence before the current input position, within the current paragraph.
•     Fixed. Convert URLs To Relative was not done correctly for encoded URLs.
•     Fixed. Workaround for injected stylesheets from Chrome.
•     Fixed. Navigation to internet links in Design Html Stylesheets should be suppressed.

ConstEdit Html Word Processor

ConstEdit is a word processor that writes documents in the standard html internet webpage format. ConstEdit is different from other regular editors in that it fully implements the concept of section outlining and the separation of content authoring and formatting. Restructuring document sections is as easy as simple drag-and-drop's. Content formatting is fully automatic and is done on-the-fly through the use of external style-sheets.

ConstEdit runs in the form of a Google Chrome web-browser extension. It is not a standalone program. In this way, you can use ConstEdit in any desktop platform such as Windows, Linux and Mac, as long as you have a desktop Chrome web-browser installed.
