Follow on Google News | Local PODS® and KHAY Country looking for messiest garage while giving back to the communityBy: PODS TriCounties Starting March 6, residents are encouraged to submit a photo and/or a short description of their messiest garage to be placed in a drawing to win 6 months of free storage provided by PODS including a $250 home improvement gift card to help organize their garage. "Spring cleaning is an arduous job, so we thought what better way to alleviate the overwhelming feeling of cleaning a stubborn garage than to provide a PODS container free for 6 months," states Steve Yapp, owner of Local PODS Moving & Storage. "We love stepping in to help our communities and are excited to see who will be crowned with the messiest garage title this year." In addition to this year's messiest garage challenge, Local PODS Moving & Storage is celebrating its 15th anniversary by giving back to our communities, donating a percentage of each container sold all year and matching that donation to charities throughout the community. This month the PODS team is excited to support James Storehouse. "We are so blessed and excited to have Steve Yapp and his team on our side to support the kids in the community who need support the most," said Stacy DeWitt, Executive Director at James Storehouse. She added, "This donation means so much to these children and we are truly thankful to have a partner who is making such a difference in their lives." James Storehouse is a community-based non-profit that partners with local child welfare agencies to fill emergency requests to expedite safe placements for youth and children transitioning in or out of the system. In 2019, the organization provided 5,023 foster children and their caregivers with emergency resources throughout Ventura and LA Counties. End
