Senseeker Announces Availability of State-of-the-Art Digital Pixel Readout ICThe Magnesium™ MIL RP0092 DPROIC is available now for U.S. Government approved use
The Magnesium MIL RP0092 supports a 1280 x 720 frame size at up-to 120 fps, with dual-polarity inputs to provide compatibility with all industry-standard direct-injection compatible detector materials. The solution was designed to provide high-definition dual-band imaging for reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition applications. Digital pixel sensors disconnect well capacity from noise floor, enabling reduced noise and increased sensitivity for extremely high well capacities. This facilitates higher speed, higher precision and greater accuracy infrared imaging. "This product is a result of the R&D investment that Senseeker has made in the field of digital pixel technology over several years. We have developed and implemented a cutting-edge solution and are delighted to make it available to U.S. Government approved customers as a merchant supplier," said Kenton Veeder, President at Senseeker Engineering. "The Magnesium MIL RP0092 represents the state-of-the- The Magnesium MIL RP0092 was designed with a large well capacity (>140 Me-) and digital pixels to handle a very wide dynamic range. This dynamic range makes it possible to capture distant ice-cold objects in the same frame in which hot targets are resolved in unprecedented detail. The digital pixel architecture shifts complexity from the analog circuitry and allows for a more efficient design that enables the optimization of size, weight, power consumption and cost (SWaP-C) of the infrared imaging system. The Magnesium MIL RP0092 is in production now.
