QPP MIPS 2019 Data Submission Deadline Ending Soon!

ONTARIO, Calif. - March 23, 2020 - PRLog -- The deadline set by the CMS (The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) for MIPS 2019 reporting is approaching. There's only a little time left until eligible physicians and groups who choose to participate via CMS Web Interface can report their clinical data and avoid penalties.

Mark the date – It's March 31, 2020, by 8:00 pm. EST.

Clinicians who won't be able to submit data by the due date will face a 7% negative payment adjustment on all Medicare Part B payments for covered services in 2021. Physicians are required to submit data in four performance categories – Improvement Activities (IA), Promoting Interoperability (PI), Quality, and cost.

Just a little reminder that there are no specific requirements for the cost category. CMS itself estimates the cost factor depending upon the data submitted by the physicians, groups, and virtual groups.
