Eleventh Hour LLC Announces Release of a New Book by Marlene Pardo Pellicer

CALIFORNIA 1870
A tall stranger named Mort Peccatum meets a mendicant friar escorting a companion in holy orders that carries an ancient relic recovered from the jungles of British Honduras. He is tasked as a sentinel to guard the man and what he carries in a stained satchel to the burgeoning, vice-ridden city of San Francisco.

There are many who await the arrival of the reliquary recognizing the power it contains. Among them are wealthy entrepreneurs, necromancers who practice the darkest arts, and Ema The Walker Between the Worlds. She is the only one that is able to send it to a place where it cannot be placated with blood sacrifices.

The forces of Good and Evil square off in the fog dense nights of San Francisco, where unknown creatures for both factions war against each other to claim victory. The prize: the lives of innumerable human beings.

Pardo Pellicer's first fiction book Walker Between the Worlds (Book 1 of the Sibyl Chronicles)  a dark, supernatural fantasy was released October 2019. A novella Diabolique was released December 2019, part of the Sibyl universe, and March 2020 The Path to Purgatory (Book 2 of the Sibyl Chronicles) became available.

The series centers on Ema also known as The Sibyl, who is gifted and cursed with the ability to traverse between dimensions including heaven and hell. Through the ages she has hunted the most sadistic demons and monsters that prowl the earth, some of them disguised inside human beings. She herself hunts with a human avatar, as well as mythical creatures that have allied themselves with her cause.
