Rob Rast,Founder and CEO of FLX Bike, Joins the Fight Against COVID-19. 

SAN DIEGO - April 7, 2020 - PRLog -- FLX's founder and CEO Robert Rast has displayed his support for those affected by the Coronavirus by donating 500 surgical masks to UCSD Hospital in San Diego, CA. "At this time, there are thousands of individuals around the world who feel helpless in the wake of this virus. Despite the panic we are experiencing across the globe, it is important to address this on the community level in order to help where we can. This is just the first step that we can take as a company as we continue to look for more ways to serve the community during this difficult time."

Early Thursday morning, Rob Rast and Michael Drumm biked from the FLX shop in San Diego to the UCSD emergency room with 500 masks that are desperately needed by hospital staff. When they arrived, they were greeted by a team of nurses who took the donations with open arms. While this kind of donation can go a long way in helping prevent the spread of this virus, there is still a huge amount of assistance needed by those affected as well as those who are helping in the fight.

As you are reading this there are hundreds of thousands of heroes risking their lives by working in hospitals and throughout our community in an effort to help those affected by the Coronavirus. With supplies running low due to an increased demand for things like masks and sanitation equipment, reaching out in any way can directly help stop this horrible pandemic.

We can all do our part in preventing the spread of Coronavirus by maintaining social distancing and using proper sanitation techniques. With that being said, it is in rare times like this where a helping hand could go as far as saving someone's life.
