Aussie Dynamo Charlie Bedford Signs with Blue Heart Records

LANCASTER, Pa. - April 15, 2020 - PRLog -- When 19 year-old guitarist and vocalist Charlie Bedford made his fourth pilgrimage to Memphis, Tennessee in January 2020 to attend the International Blues Challenge, he entered, and won, a distribution deal with the newly-formed Blue Heart Records, a joint venture between Nola Blue, Inc. and Blind Raccoon.

A native of Melbourne, Australia, Bedford has performed with and been mentored by some of Australia's biggest blues artists.  He has also had the honor of performing on stage in the USA with band members from great acts such as B.B. King, Albert Collins, Ray Charles, Bonnie Raitt and Wilson Pickett.  He began playing in bars and clubs at 12 years of age and now, seven years later, works as a full-time musician. Bedford performs regularly as a solo artist, fronting his own band and is also the guitarist in both The Great Unknown and The New Savages. He is endorsed by Hagstrom Guitars, of Sweden.

"Good To Go," Bedford's sophomore album, is a 12 -song collection of originals with one cover, a blues-infused pop and rock showcase that entertains from the very first listen.  Slated for worldwide release on May 22, the album is currently available for pre-save and pre-order at https://orcd.co/goodtogo.
