WAKE FOREST, N.C. - April 24, 2020 - PRLog -- 1-800-PACK-RAT, LLC, a leader in the portable storage and moving industry, recently donated a container and provided three additional containers at a discount to the community of Cookeville, TN. The town was one of the many cities and townships that were hit hardest by the tornado outbreak that occurred in the region this past March. Damage in the area was extensive, requiring significant cleanup and disaster response.

Shortly after the tornado outbreak, 1-800-PACK-RAT was contacted by a Murfreesboro, TN resident, Kathy Stockman, who heard of the needs of the Willow Avenue Church of Christ and wanted to help. The church was designated as a donation drop-off point for relief supplies for area residents. Mrs. Stockman was worried about an overflow of donations taking up space in and around the church, which would take away valuable space needed for worship and counseling. In addition to the church receiving three portable storage containers, a fourth was provided for two church families who live side-by-side whose homes were heavily damaged during the storm.

"I am extremely grateful for the assistance that 1-800-PACK-RAT has provided for the Cookeville community," said Stockman. "We had reached out to two other storage companies for assistance and 1-800-PACK-RAT was the only one to give us any help. They have been wonderful, and their containers have been exactly what we needed for us to help those most in need after this terrible storm. Thank you, 1-800-PACK-RAT, for your generous support!"

1-800-PACK-RAT's portable storage containers can safely store supplies, furniture, personal items, and much more. 1-800-PACK-RAT's all-steel containers can resist the elements, so contents and belongings are safe while stored inside. They also have 65 locations across the continental US and can easily delivery to a residence or commercial building quickly.

"We are so glad Mrs. Stockman reached out to us so we could help the Willow Avenue Church of Christ, and the community of Cookeville, TN," said James Burati III, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing. "With so much going on in our world and country today, we want to assist in any way we can. We hope that our containers have alleviated some of the stress for those coordinating donations or storing their belongings while they work to rebuild their community."
