Environmental Operators Certification Program Conference

BURNABY, British Columbia - May 4, 2020 - PRLog -- Burnaby BC: The Environmental Operators Certification Program Conference, 14th to 16th of September 2020.

Since 1966, the Environmental Operators Certification Program (EOCP) has been working to protect public health and the environment.  With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the importance of its work in water and wastewater is even more heightened.

The EOCP held its first sold-out conference in September 2018.  Designed for Operators, by Operators, the EOCP's conferences provide a unique opportunity for Operators to learn from leading experts in water, wastewater, and leadership; interact with each other; and get information on leading-edge technologies from vendors.

The EOCP's next conference, with the theme 'Leading Edge' is scheduled for the 14th to 16th of September 2020 in Vancouver BC.  We recognize that even during these extremely challenging times, it is crucial that our stakeholders continue to learn, to engage, and keep abreast of innovation in the industry, and we are closely monitoring the updates from the health experts in BC and YK.  As such, while #EOCP2020 will proceed, it is yet to be determined whether it will be in a hybrid format with both in-person activities and online components, or as a fully virtual event only.

The EOCP will make a decision on the format of the conference as soon as possible whilst ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our stakeholders.  In the meantime, please save the dates: 14^th to 16^th of September 2020.
