California Arts Council to Host Virtual Emergency Meeting on May 8

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - May 6, 2020 - PRLog -- The California Arts Council will hold an emergency Council meeting on Friday, May 8, 2020. The video stream will go live at 9:30 a.m. and will conclude at approximately 1:30 p.m. Public meeting access will be available on Zoom; a Zoom account is not required. The link can be found at http://www.arts.ca.gov/aboutus/councilmeetings.php.

During this meeting, the Council will discuss emergency agenda items, including the process for re-granting the National Endowment for the Arts CARES Act funding allocated to the California Arts Council.

Public comment will be accepted online on the Council Meetings webpage beginning 24 hours prior to the meeting. The Council will read all submissions after the meeting and all submissions will be entered into the public meeting record.
