Follow on Google News | EEACS in Allentown Closed for Remainder of 2019-2020 School Year Due to COVID-19All Pennsylvania schools have been ordered closed by Governor Tom Wolf to help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.
To help alleviate the stress such a transition may place on students, the school continues to offer daily morning announcements live on its Facebook page. This helps keep students and parents involved in the latest news and updates. Students will be expected to sign into their Google Classroom and complete 30-minute lessons for all major subjects. Faculty and staff are also sharing online learning resources with students via the school's website. These resources are available for grades K through 12 and will help students continue their educational exercises while out of the classroom. "We remain committed to keeping our students safe and healthy," says Robert Lysek, founder and CEO of the Lehigh Valley charter school. "And we will continue to follow the guidelines of the governor as we work together to stop the spread of this disease." The school has put together a breaking news page with updates and information for students and parents.
