Aviation Podcast For Everyone – TOP LANDING GEAR

Roy Stride, the lead singer of indie rock band 'Scouting For Girls' has just (12 May 2020) launched a regular podcast all about flying and aircraft aimed at both the aviation expert and the casual observer.

Aviation enthusiast Stride has teamed up with three long-time friends to produce 'Top Landing Gear', a humorous but factual magazine-styled program hoping to bring his enthusiasm for the subject to a widespread audience of existing fans of his music and hardened aircraft fans.

Also in the team are ex BBC and Sky TV presenter Rob Curling, Ex RAF Pilot James Cartner and fencing contractor (and aviation historian) Jeremy Curling.

When asked why he was involved with the podcast, the West Sussex based song writer said "Because I am the only one of my group of friends who can operate a mixing desk!! I have been interested in flying and aviation since I was a nipper and I love the history.  Last year I started learning to fly – however I'm now stuck in a studio – so this was the next best thing!. The podcast is aimed at everybody, so if you were born to fly, or have ever just looked up and wondered – you will find it absolutely fascinating!"
