Soumee Bhatt joins BankBazaar as General Counsel

MUMBAI, India - May 19, 2020 - PRLog -- BankBazaar.com, India's leading online financial services marketplace, has appointed BFSI specialist Soumee Bhatt as the General Counsel. Based out of Mumbai, Soumee would be working closely with the regulators to make BankBazaar's vision of Contactless Finance a reality. She will also be responsible for driving corporate governance standards and maturing the legal, compliance, and risk framework for BankBazaar.

Soumee comes with a history of working in the banking and financial services sector in India, where she has played a pivotal role in the growth and transformational journey of some of the leading private banks in the country. She joins BankBazaar from RBL Bank, where she was the VP – Legal. Prior to this, she was part of the legal team at ICICI Bank and Axis Bank.
