Poignant New Prose Collection Reveals 30-year journey"Crimson Sunshine" is first compilation of award-winning works by author Jessica Weyer Bentley
By: AlyBlue Media LLC Crimson Sunshine features a diverse compilation of original works the author began penning at age 9, after losing her father in a car crash. Born in Ohio, and raised in the Appalachian hills of eastern Kentucky, Bentley's youth was filled with uncertainty following her father's death. Penning became a therapeutic outlet, revealing both a journey through self-discovery and a talent for penning life experiences encompassing nearly thirty years. Paired for the first time with her adult daughter's illustrations, the collection reveals a life of deep struggles and heartwarming triumphs. A mother of two, Jessica Weyer Bentley has a degree in medical administration and serves as a victim impact speaker and supports law enforcement at sobriety checkpoints. Her writing has been featured in newspapers and the award-winning Grief Diaries anthology series. Bentley and her family reside in Hardin County, Ohio. Her daughter and Crimson Sunshine's illustrator, Laura Bentley, holds a psychology degree, and integrates artistic endeavors into her educational experience as she pursues a career in school psychology. Her art has been featured in both art invitationals and museums, and she won the Silver Key award in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards in 2015. Crimson Sunshine is now available around the world including Amazon and Barnes & Nobles. For more information, email bentleyjessica@ End
