Dr. Dallas Stout Appointed to Faculty Council

FULLERTON, Calif. - June 5, 2020 - PRLog -- Dr. Dallas Stout has been appointed to a 1-year term on Ashford University's Faculty Council as a member of the Doctoral Advisory Council. In making the appointment, Dr. Craig D. Swenson, President of Ashford University stated "As you serve on the Council your voice and perspectives will be key in exploring ways to further doctoral culture, doctoral student progression, and student retention in alignment with the university's mission. You will also play a key role in recommending curriculum enhancements to support student engagement and promoting the growth of doctoral programs".

Upon receiving the news from Dr. Swenson, Dr. Stout stated, "After over 13 years teaching at the College level, this will be my first foray into faculty governance. I consider it an honor to be invited to serve on this Council and I look forward to it".

Dr. Stout accepted an Associate Online Faculty position at Ashford University in late 2018 when The University of the Rockies merged with Ashford University. Prior to the merger, Dr. Stout had taught in The University of the Rockies online graduate programs since 2009. Ashford University traces its roots back to the founding of the Mt. St. Claire Academy in 1893 in Clinton, Iowa. Today the University is comprised of 2 Colleges and is probably best known for their innovative Forbes School of Business and Technology.

Drs. Dallas and Debra Stout provide a broad array of consultation services to non-profit and grassroots groups, coalitions, and agencies throughout Orange County via DoctorS Nonprofit Consulting which they founded in 2004. They specialize in all aspects of research including program evaluation as well as program design and grant writing. They are also available for staff or volunteer training and public speaking requests.
