Voters In 2020 May Act Like Cats Chasing laser Lights

NEW YORK - June 9, 2020 - PRLog -- All our unhappiness comes from our inability to happily sit alone in our room without being on Facebook. This is not literally true, but the exaggeration of this idea helps to bring home a general insight, we are tempted to leave our rooms through social media and crave excitement that often turn out badly, we meddle in the life of others but fail to help them, we seek fame and end up being misunderstood by a large number of people we don't know. We avoid thinking before we post online. Instead, we should become better, quieter friends to ourselves. Yet, we continue to post our birthdays, graduations, meme, protests and politics. Whether in 2020 or 2024, Donald Trump will exit the White House. Will the world be a better place without Trump? I'm hoping yes, but history could be against us. Better yet, will the next president get caught bragging about grabbing *****? As it turns out, cats like laser lights because they are predators and like to chase or hunt anything that moves fast around them. A zipping red light that quickly switches directions might have a similar motion to a mouse or other critter. The light sort of mimics an animal scurrying around to escape its prey. Donald Trump has been the laser light of choice for many of us avoiding the work of self reflection. Blaming Trump is less work than to begin a well intentioned (transparent & constructive) discussion to bring Americans together. (Biggest obstacle) it's necessary to agree the resistance we face is either conscious or unconscious. If well meaning citizens insist they have nothing to hide, understand what is involved & have strong motivation, we can only assume the resistance must be unconscious. How can we bring attention to the things we don't think we're bad at & help individuals work through the unconscious resistance? We get distracted by the likes of Donald Trump since it's easier than introspection, an extremely difficult job for most people.
One doesn't usually have proper insight into ones own emotional makeup. Most of us spend our time trying to rationalize our behavior as a result of our lack of self awareness.
Why not find the core root of the argument?
Resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
Avoid argument triggers.
Learn when to drop it.
Don't jump to conclusions.
Let go of long term racial grudges.
Vs
Finding laser light politicians & personalities to continually distract us.
