American lifestyle brand to honor Arizona police officer killed in motorcycle accident

SMITHFIELD, N.C. - July 2, 2020 - PRLog -- A police officer who lost his life yesterday in a motorcycle crash in Peoria, Arizona is the latest first responder to be honored with an apparel fundraiser from Shield Republic Charities.

The patriotic lifestyle brand announced today that they will recognize the sacrifice of Officer Jason Judd of the Peoria Police Department through the sale of honorary t-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, hoodies, ladies' tank tops and decals. All net proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Judd family.

Officer Judd was killed while on duty Monday, July 1 after performing a motorcycle demonstration for students at the Youth Citizen Police Academy summer camp near Liberty High School at 97th Avenue and Deer Valley Road in Peoria. After performing for the students, they were ushered inside the school. As he prepared to leave, Officer Judd suddenly lost control of his motorcycle and crashed, sustaining severe injuries. He later died after being transported to the hospital.

The 52-year-old officer and U.S. Air Force veteran had served with the Peoria P.D. for 21 years, including 17 years with Traffic Unit 1 as a motorcycle officer. The beloved husband and father was also a motorcycle safety instructor.
