VENTURA, Calif. - July 17, 2020 - PRLog -- For the month of July, local organization Women of Substance & Men of Honor (WOSMOH) is the well-deserved recipient of a $1500 donation from Local PODS Moving and Storage. All year long, Local PODS is donating to a charity in the community in honor of their 15-year anniversary.

WOS&MOH is a non-profit community service organization dedicated to providing support to young men and women that may have been incarcerated and/or in the Foster Care system. They offer housing, mentorship, counseling, scholarships and other resources to those who may have not been given the opportunity to better their lives.

"We are thrilled to do our part in supporting the efforts of WOS&MOH," said Steve Yapp, owner of Local PODS moving & storage. "It is an honor to be able to help provide hope and resources for the community and local foster youth."

Additionally, WOS&MOH will be featured on the Local PODS Facebook page, sharing their mission and donation opportunities for their organization to over 5,000 fans and followers. In years prior, PODS has donated PODS containers for the facility onsite as well as for many donation drives.

"We are so humbled to receive such a thoughtful donation from Local PODS Moving & Storage," said Rosalinda Vint, President and Founder of WOS&MOH. "This generous gift supports our goals to provide housing, job resources, clothing, mentorship and much more for our community youth in need."
