Lonzo Williams Launches Monthly Masterclass for Music Industry Professionals

COMPTON, Calif. - July 20, 2020 - PRLog -- Lonzo Williams, most notably known as the Godfather of West Coast Hip Hop, has packaged his 30-year career into a Masterclass designed to help aspiring musicians and entrepreneurs find success in the music industry.

Williams has worn many hats throughout his extensive career! From his early days as a mobile DJ and record producer to becoming a well-respected club owner in South Los Angeles. He is also credited with launching the careers of Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, D.J. Yella, and Eazy E. also known as N.W.A., Michel'le, DJ Battle Cat, and Compton's Most Wanted, just to name a few. This experience has positioned Williams to inspire and impact a new generation of artists.

The 2-hour course will take place on the last Saturday of every month and will cover topics such as artist management, music publishing, sound exchange, digital music distribution, contract negotiations, financial literacy, and more.

Aspiring musicians, and industry professionals should register to attend the next class set to take place Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM on the Zoom network. The topic will be "Don't Leave Money On the Table". Lonzo's special guest for the afternoon will be Michael Frenke of Frenkeaudio, who specializes in sound reinforcement, as well as recording and mixing for the film, televsion and music industries.
