Follow on Google News | Timm Hellbusch Explains Why Amazon Does Not Want To Compete With Third Party FBA SellersTim Hellbusch is a lead instructor at ALGO Online Retail. He has 20+ years of experience in the e-commerce world.
Tim Hellbusch put together a new YouTube video outlining three big reasons why Amazon does not want to compete with third-party FBA sellers. Amazon actually likes and wants people to sell on their platform. It saves them a lot of time and money. It saves them time because they do not have to research and communicate with wholesale suppliers if third-parties are already doing it. It saves them money because they do not have to put up the capital to invest in inventory from wholesale suppliers. They basically let all the third party sellers do that work and collect fees from their fulfillment services. Amazon sellers love those fees though, because they never have to see, handle, or physically ship any of the products in their portfolio. It is a win win situation. Sellers are more passionate about researching and communicating with suppliers because it is in the best interest of their personal business and inherently their finances.
