Follow on Google News | Amazon Announces New Storage Limit Changes for FBA Sellers Starting August 16thALGO Online Retail just released an article about everything you need to know about the new storage limit changes.
The main change is that the Inventory Performance Index (IPI) threshold for storage limits will increase from 400 to 500 starting August 16th. This change is an attempt to better manage fulfillment centers, receive products faster, and deliver products to customers faster. The change impacts professional seller accounts with an Inventory Performance Index (IPI) lower than 500. The storage limit will be uniquely calculated for each seller based on their sales volume, historical IPI statistics, and Amazon's available fulfillment center capacity. There are 6 different storage types when using Amazon fulfillment centers, but only four of them will be affected by the new change.
