Debut Author Robert E. Hoxie Explores Hook up Culture in GIRLS I KNOW

LIVONIA, Mich. - Aug. 13, 2020 - PRLog -- Born to a Mexican-American family in a small town in Michigan, Robert E. Hoxie credits his dysfunctional upbringing for his dark sense of humor. His writing focuses on sexuality, addiction, and relationships set in rural middle America often exploring a dark, ironic, humorous side of the human condition.

"I see the modern age of dating as heavily flawed but also a revolution of how we express our sexuality," says Hoxie. "I wanted to show the good and the bad. The writing of Girls I Know was me coming to terms with the rather lonely and confusing, but intoxicating world, of the hook up culture."
