IGN releases Hero Shooter HoverGrease Kickstarter exclusive trailer during Gamescom

LONDON - Aug. 31, 2020 - PRLog -- Altergaze, best known for pioneering the first 3D printed handheld VR HMD for smartphones, launched their second Kickstarter campaign last weekend during Gamescom, aiming to acquire funds for the launch of HoverGrease, their 5v5 top-down hero shooter that mixes the classical elements of a team-objective FPS with the fast-paced arcade-like game mechanics of a twin-stick game.

The campaign was welcomed by the public with very positive feedback and received an enthusiastic push from IGN, who exclusively released HoverGrease's newest Kickstarter trailer to the public, with over 45k views in the first day. Additionally, Madeye Bull, one of HoverGrease's most notable characters, was included in Gamescom's conclusion trailer as one of the highlights of the show. This is surely a testimony to the quality of the game and the great response of the audience.

Finishing a very successful Gamescom, Altergaze aims to keep engaging the community and increasing its reach, while crossing as many milestones as possible during the 36 days at Kickstarter.

HoverGrease's campaign is expected to carry on until October 06 and plenty of announcements and surprises are still to come, with special events happening during EGX / PAX Online and Tokyo Game Show. The special perks for early supporters will be available until end of August.

HoverGrease launch event is expected to be in the first half of 2021 for PC and later in the year for consoles, but the die-hard fans will be given early access to the game in December 2020.
