CHICAGO - Sept. 2, 2020 - PRLog -- The Chicago art venue Woman Made Gallery has chosen a paper collage artwork by Anne Nordhaus-Bike for display in its latest juried show, Loss, A Virtual Exhibition.

Juror Felicia Grant Preston selected Nordhaus-Bike's Mothergone collage piece to include in this exhibit, which opens this Friday, September 4, 2020.

The exhibit runs through Sunday, September 27.

"This entire year has been a season of loss for so many of us," Nordhaus-Bike said. "I've been making more art lately that's specifically about endings and loss because I felt it was a way to process 2020's waves of change as well as a string of personal losses."

The show is up online already, with an official opening coming this Friday. It features work by 120 artists from around the world.

Loss, A Virtual Exhibition is Woman Made's third virtual show this year.

The gallery's board decided to take a creative approach in the face of 2020's health and distancing challenges by creating a special series of three opportunities for artists to connect and support each other online through virtual exhibitions.
