Hoffman & Associates Continues its Support in the Fight Against Hunger in Atlanta

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - Sept. 8, 2020 - PRLog -- Hoffman & Associates (H&A) has been hard at work supporting the Atlanta Food Bank since 2013 but this year, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Georgia food banks have been responding to a 40% increase in demand for food and that was reason enough for H&A to step up their community support.  Not long after answering the call to raise funds for the Legal Food Frenzy in May, H&A committed once again to the Atlanta Food Bank in support of the Georgia Accounting Food Fight.  This time, the Hoffman team not only met their goal, but far exceeded it with all online donations.  "Y'all are the BEST! We blew our goal of out of the water. Thank you all for your contributions and participation!" read a statement circulated in the office last week by Bobby Hoffman, tax department manager.  Hoffman & Associates is committed to doing its share in helping the Atlanta Food Bank end hunger in the local community.

The Georgia Society of CPAs and Georgia's accounting community are using their one voice to create a virtual fundraising competition among Georgia accounting professionals to support Georgia's eight regional food banks. For each dollar donated, Georgia's food banks can provide four meals to kids, seniors, and families in need.
