Man missing from bus station enroute to Oregon

LOS ANGELES - Sept. 12, 2020 - PRLog -- Kenneth Eugene Harris, 55, went missing September 01, 2020, around 7 PM. That was the last time family spoke with him. The next morning he was to board a greyhound bus in Los Angeles, California. According to family he was heading to Oregon to visit. Harris was very excited and couldn't wait to go back to his old hometown to visit family and places where he grew up.

For the past 25 years he has lived in California and the fact that he did not board the bus, Nor contact family, is extremely concerning. They tried to reach him by cell phone and at one point a woman answered in which she said purchased his cell phone, from a man in skid row.

So where is Kenneth?

His sister, Ernestine Harris, states, "It has been extremely difficult in not knowing where my brother is and if he is safe, or if he may need medical attention? This is not in his character."

The family has turned to LostNMissing Inc to help bring awareness to help locate Harris.
LostNMissing, Inc, a nonprofit that assists families of missing, has started a Facebook page for Harris titled "Missing Kenneth Eugene Harris" and hopes the public will share the information to help bring awareness towards finding him.

Cynthia Caron, nonprofit founder, says, "because his cell phone was found by a woman near Skid Row, it's very possible somehow he is in one of the homeless encampments." She further adds, "If anyone spots Mr. Harris to try and take a cell photo to bookmark the location, which will aid investigators in his identification, and call authorities."

Harris stands at approximately 5'2", weighs 180 lbs and has a full beard with shoulder length silver- colored hair . He does not wear glasses except to read And maybe carrying a camouflage backpack.
