Allen Ellison, Democratic Congressional Nominee for Florida 17 to Speak at the 2020 Blue Gala Annual

OKEECHOBEE, Fla. - Sept. 14, 2020 - PRLog -- Saturday, September 19, 2020 Allen Ellison, Democratic Congressional Nominee for FL 17 is invited to speak at the 2020 Blue Gala No Regrets Fundraiser.

The fundraiser's efforts will support Charlotte County Democrats' Vote-From-Home Campaign. Thus far the vote-by-mail application rate is up by 50 percent of all Charlotte County Democrats. This fundraiser is vital to the promotion of voting by mail as it is essential for increased voter turnout because of the pandemic.

The 2020 Blue Gala Annual Fundraiser provides a chance to be reinvigorated, and Allen Ellison will create momentum as he speaks on improving the quality of life for all citizens, protecting social security, healthcare, the rights of women and veterans, and developing green solutions for a safer environment.

Ellison's objective for the night is, "to encourage Floridians to vote by any means necessary because our lives are truly at stake. If the people follow through with what they're commissioned to do, then together we can chart a new path forward."

The line-up for this Blue Gala include speaker Terrie Rizzo, chair of the Florida Democratic Party, People Over Profits Chairman, Sean Shaw and other candidates representing their tickets: S. Margaret Good (FL CD 16), David Jones (FL House 75), Katherine Norman (FL House 23).

Contributions to this fundraiser will assist in vote-by-mail ballots to more Democrats in Charlotte County and left-leaning Independents, the dissemination of postcard and texting reminders for ballot returns, as well as mail out candidates and proposed Constitutional Amendment slate cards.

Election day for the 2020 General Election is Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
