With Melodic Tones and Spicy Blues Slant Six is Ready

EDMONTON, Alberta - Sept. 17, 2020 - PRLog -- While the world was slowing down,trying to navigate through the effects of COVID the Edmonton based band SLANT SIX was doing the exact opposite!!  The band has taken their song "Flashes of Life", which was first released in October 2018 as the single for their EP - Amnesia, and brought it back to life. It possess a deep, sultry and morally powerful style. Being in the studio for the second time, the band felt more organized and has recreated a song that is a truer representation of the band.

Slant Six is an eager and valiant band with a flare of spicy and nomadic content. The band was created in late 2015. Their original heroic lyrics reflects the bands influence of their flavorful styles of music.  This is what makes this band stand out!

"Flashes of Life" came to life when the band was having a conversation with a friend who suffers from bipolar disorder.  The goal of the song is to bring awareness to mental illness and how these people feel when marginalized.

After a few lineup changes, the band has made a medial curve and are super EXCITED to announce their RADIO RELEASE with Blast FM. Their iconic single "Flashes of Life" which was dropped on BLAST FM September 17th will be on Official Rotation across the Blast-FM Indie Radio Network. This single is singularly fitting to be brought back in a time when most people can relate to this persuasive and spirited story.

The band has also been keeping busy taking part in the RiseUP Quarantine Campaign. This is a fundraiser to help musicians in their career, more specifically, the bands participation in a realty TV show coming to Canada called RiseUP TV on ROKU.
