Astoria Knights FC Announces Youth Academy Expansion and Community Development Platform

QUEENS, N.Y. - Sept. 23, 2020 - PRLog -- The Astoria Knights Football Club is pleased to announced the expansion of its Youth Academy and with it a groundbreaking community development platform for youth soccer players in New York City.

The club, based in Queens, NY, New York Knights Academy is hosting a tryout at Randall's Island Park (Wards Meadow Loop, New York, NY 10035) for U-19, U-17, U-15 and U-12 players from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Sept., 30, 2020.

Astoria Knights FC General Manager Darnell Olivere said, "I believe the future is now. No longer will Astoria Knights FC players be allowed to fall behind in their development and fail to realize their potential because they're not in Europe. We're growing by leaps and bounds as a club and we continue to focus on putting the player first every step of the way."

Astoria Knights FC is a member of the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) and is an active developer of amateur players for domestic and international playing careers. The club joined the UPSL in 2019.
