WildBlue Aircraft Sales to Host "Challenge Air" FundraiserEvent will raise money to help build confidence and self-esteem in children and youth with special needs.
By: WildBlue, LLC Challenge Air was created to change the perception of children with special needs through the gift of flight. Since 1993, it has been committed to making a difference in the lives of children with special needs. With a network of 3,500 volunteers nationwide, Challenge Air continues to grow through events called Fly Days. Typically, the Kansas City area "Fly Day" takes place in September and serves over 120 local youth. This year's event was cancelled. "Challenge Air is one of those organizations that many folks don't know about," says WildBlue Aircraft Sales owner Chris Kirk. "My company has been involved with Challenge Air for the past 8-10 years and we are fully committed to it's mission of serving the special needs community. Once you become involved you're hooked for life." Challenge Air has flown nearly 40,000 children with special needs in it's 25+ years of existence.
