This one-of-a-kind artist has built a one-of-a-kind career garnering diverse recognition from unlikely places. She's played renowned halls, including the hallowed ones of the White House and the US Supreme Court, and her genre-bending concert adventures that span Rachmaninoff to Rap attract diverse audiences of all ages and backgrounds.  For her work on and away from the stage, Essence magazine featured Jade alongside former First Lady Michelle Obama as a part of their Style & Substance List. As one of the rare classical artists invited to perform at the taste-making South by Southwest Festival, her show was ultimately branded one of the "Best of SXSW 2014." She's starred in a Broadway style musical called Lillete's Rhythm Club, and she can be heard portraying Nina Simone's classical years in the Oscar-nominated documentary What Happened Miss Simone?

Jade Simmons graduated from Northwestern with a Bachelor's degree in Music (Piano-Performance) and went on to study with Canadian pianist, Jon Kimura Parker, as a Provost Fellow at Rice University in Houston, TX. After getting her Master's degree, Jade's early career was marked by service, sharing and teaching the many tactics she learned to emerging artists, culminating in her first book, Emerge Already! A Guide to Career Building for Emerging Artists. She has since played in many famous concert halls, including performances with the Dallas Symphony in Meyerson Symphony Center, Chicago's Symphony Center with the Chicago Sinfonietta, Ravinia, New York's Town Hall, Seattle's Meany Hall, and Detroit's Institute of Art. Her once traditional musical career quickly evolved into a colorful one mixing multiple genres, adding electronics, and her trademark style of inspiration and storytelling.
