JS Institute of Design launches 3 new short term certification programs

DELHI, India - Nov. 3, 2020 - PRLog -- After the successful launch of 2nd batch of their Flagship Post Graduate Certificate course in Interior Design, JSID has decided to launch 3 specialised short-term certificate courses:

• Certificate Course in Vastu in Interiors & Architecture
• Certificate Course in Sustainable Building Design: Climate-responsive Architecture
• Certificate Course in Fundamentals of Architectural Lighting Design

Vastu and Climate responsive architecture courses commencing on 21st November are priced at Rs 8000 each. The Lighting course launches on 9th January, 2021. With batch size varying from 20 to 25, these courses bring classrooms to your homes with live lectures and doubt clearing sessions.

Vastu is based on universal principles of water, earth, air, fire & sky. This course will enable an understanding of the direction of the wind, sun rays, and the perfectly aligned placement of different spaces. It is taught by Lily Tandon who has 11 years of experience in companies like ARCOP & Jaypee along with teaching experience at Delhi School of Architecture & Design and IMS, including others.

Climate-responsive architecture is based on the way a building's form and structure moderates the climate for comfort and well-being. This course is taught by Deepa Parekh & Shashwat. Deepa, leading the Sustainability Education team, is a Registered Architect with the Indian Council of Architecture, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a member of the Society of Building Science Educators (SBSE). With 3 years of experience in design operations, Shashwat graduated from NUS in Building performance and sustainability.

Lighting design teaches how to use the power of light when planning and designing lighting for an interior space. It is designed and taught by Mandala Design Studio (winner of 40 under 40) - a Delhi based design studio which has established its forte in the Lighting Design industry.
