Lal Bhatia, the author, was tormented, victimised, falsely convicted, imprisoned and treated like a terrorist. It took Lal Bhatia 13 years to finally establish his innocence and return to his land, India. He said, "I wrote the book during my 13 years of incarceration. I penned every minute detail and collected undisputed facts, evidence to support my claim and attached it to the book.
