By: Born To Read Inc The reusable bags donated by the Sea Island Rotary Club will primarily be used for the resource bags containing board books and other information items given to parents of newborns at Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Coastal Carolina Hospital, and Hilton Head Hospital. "Born To Read is grateful for this donation of reusable bags to be used for our resource bags given to parents of newborns." "These reusable bags enable Born To Read distribution activities to be compliant with the Beaufort County single use plastic bag ban enacted November 2019." "Born To Read distributes on average 2000 resource bags per year," stated Janie Ephland, Executive Director. About Sea Island Rotary Club: The Sea Island Rotary Club was Chartered on March 19, 1980 with just 35 charter members. Since that time, the club has grown to a membership of more than 85 men and women represented from most industries in Northern Beaufort County, SC.
