Get Your Home Ready for Fall

You probably do a lot of spring cleaning, like most people. You tidy up and put away the clutter that has accumulated over the year. During the colder months, a lot of stuff is brought out to combat the cold outside. Hats, mutts, jackets, boots, blankets, and coats are all brought out of storage. We recommend bringing these things out a few at a time, before you need them. This way you can inspect them for and cleaning needs or repairs. As you bring out your cold weather gear, you have the chance to pack away your summer stuff. This makes less work when you don't do it all at once. It also makes it so that you will be more organized when you need to bring these things back out again.

Wash Your Baseboards

These are some of the most neglected things in homes. People often tend to forget about them and they go uncleaned for long periods of time. As you are spending more time inside, when the weather gets cold, you might begin to notice your baseboards more and more. Luckily, they are super easy to clean. One way to do it is to vacuum the boards and then wipe them with a wet cloth to get anything left over.
