CHICAGO - Dec. 11, 2020 - PRLog -- Custom Data Processing, Inc. (CDP) and ezEMRx have released an updated mass scheduling feature as part of the ezEMRx electronic health record and practice management software.

The update includes a rules engine that associates vaccine batches with events, manages the distribution and inventory as doses are administered. The mass scheduling feature allows health departments to set up community vaccination drives and groups based on demographics.

A patient can self-register online and is issued a unique QR code that is used to track attendance and flow through the event.

This feature is being released just in time to prepare for distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine in the coming months.
