Follow on Google News | ![]() PRIDE Museum Donates Booklets Promoting Mask Wearing For Youth To Help Reduce The Spread Of COVID-19PRIDE Museum's KWANZAA VILLAGE BOOKS has produced and distributed booklets for youth ages 6-12 to help them stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
By: PRIDE Museum PRIDE Museum continues to focus on various approaches to communications that speak directly to youth about the importance of wearing masks and social distancing routines. Distribution of the booklets to youth are managed by nonprofit organization affiliations and cooperation with local churches and neighborhood associations. Earlier this year, PRIDE Museum nonprofit organization carried out the Mask Me Network project from April through July, 2020, in response to the country's appeal for sewn face masks that need to be worn by the general public. PRIDE Museum has distributed 1,350 masks in underserved communities and reached those who are providing essential services and are in direct exposure to the virus — the individuals who need masks to continue providing daily services for many of us during "Shelter in Place" orders. https://pridemuseum.wordpress.com ABOUT US PRIDE Museum inspires a new generation of youth to explore careers in technology and science.
