All attendees are asked to wear masks and maintain at least 6' social distance at the outdoor ceremony at 11:30 am on December 19, 2020 at the Soldier's Circle. National Wreaths Across America Day is a free, non-political event that is open to all people, and this year, River View Cemetery will be abiding by all local and state safety guidelines and rules set forth at which Wreaths Across America is a guest. Wreaths Across America is the non-profit organization best known for placing veterans' wreaths on the headstones of our nation's fallen at Arlington National Cemetery. However, the organization, in total, places more than 2.2 million sponsored wreaths at over 2,200 participating locations nationwide and offers other programs throughout the calendar year. # # # About Wreaths Across America: Wreaths Across America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded to continue and expand the annual wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery begun by Maine businessman Morrill Worcester in 1992.
