TakeOff features artist and songwriter, James "Jay Wiz" Crayton, with production by Atlanta-based producer and engineer, Antonio "Tone Jonez" Jones. The single is the follow up to E. Renee's collaborative album, At Home, with husband and music partner, Jay Wiz (known collectively as CrayZ), which was released in September.

Originally born and raised in Cincinnati, OH. Erica "E. Renee" Crayton developed musical talent vocally in church, and in music theory classes taken in high school. E. Renee earned respect lyrically by demanding to be featured on songs as a rap artist. E.
