Chris Munyan Joins IVEST Consumer Partners as Operating Partner

Chris has over 25 years of broad experience in consumer products. Chris was the President and CEO of CSS Industries from 2006 to 2020 when the company was sold to a strategic buyer. CSS sold over $350 million into the craft, seasonal and gift markets. Chris has extensive experience in sales management, finance, operations, turnaround and M&A, having closed over 20 acquisitions during his time at CSS Industries. In 2019 Chris led his management to cut over $30mm in expenses at the company.

From 2004 to 2006 Chris was the Chief Operating Officer of CSS Industries. He was responsible for three operating companies with combined sales of over $500 million. From 1993 to 2004 Chris worked for Berwick Offray LLC in various roles, including President from 1999 to 2004. He led the 350% sales growth of this decorative ribbon business to over $200 million in sales by 2004.

Chris graduated from Rutgers University, with a B.S, in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant
