By: Spivey Hall Children's Choir The 50 member select ensemble Tour Choir is part of the highly acclaimed Spivey Hall Children's Choir. Tour Choir Members are selected by audition from students who have invested at least one year in the Children's Choir and demonstrate a higher level of mastery in the areas of sight-reading, music theory, and vocal technique. Successful execution of vocal music in a choir relies on being able to hear the other voices around you for tune and timing. During the 2020 pandemic, Tour Choir members had to overcome the demands that increased time in a virtual learning environment presented in order to develop a virtual choir experience not only equaling but rivaling their in-person performance history. "The Spivey Hall Children's Choir Program (SHCCP) is the jewel of Spivey Hall's Education programming," The Spivey Hall Tour Choir virtual performance of Hold Fast To Dreams is available free of charge on their virtual event platform at Hold Fast To Dreams, YouTube and Social Media outlets.
