ARTESIA, Calif. - Jan. 13, 2021 - PRLog -- Until 2019, CIOs around the globe used to be divided in the opinion about 'culture' being a catalyst for transformation or a roadblock. However, the pandemic accelerated the rate of DX as enterprises struggled to adapt their processes to survive and accommodate inevitable changes.

A successful Digital Transformation is not just an IT exercise – it is a culture focused at propelling the use of technology to optimize resources and increase productivity. COVID 19 challenged legacy processes like no time earlier and pushed the C suites to operate beyond their comfort zones.

Although we began 2020 with some grand visions, we quickly identified 3 pain points that needed our unwavering attention:
- Melting siloed structured to streamline access of information
- Promoting engagement between the C suite and the employees
- Enhancing the personal growth prospect of the leaders while adopting mentorship roles

Our key agenda was not to slip back to old systems and habits - the first step towards ensuring business continuity and extending undeterred support to our associates was the decision to function 100% remote.

To close the gap between the employee-employer relationship, we identified 3 must-take initiatives:
- Developed a cultural vision to give the leadership and their teams a standard for their work
- Aligned our cultural pursuits to the digital mission that our C suite envisioned
- Streamlined KPIs to sync with transformation goals and defined desired behavioral changes

A core understanding of the undercurrents in the system helped us zero down on a few aspects:
- Digital First Approach: Integrating digital solutions for every concern and issue
- Transparent Culture: Removing mental blocks about associating with third-party vendors
- Data Driven Decisions: Depending on data analytics and business intelligence to predict outcomes and taking calculated risks
- Driving Innovation: Supporting ideas that promote disruptive thinking
- Promoting Collaboration: Supporting cross-functional, inter-departmental efforts; enhancing transparent flow of information
- Integrating Agility: Adapting to changing demands at trailblazing speed, implementing modern technology and dynamic decision-making
- Customer-focused Approach: Implementing dynamic digital solutions, expanding customer base by co-creating new products and services

For a future-proof business, it is essential that the hierarchal power is distributed to people who are closest to the issues and contribute to solving it personally. For a team to function in its A game, it is essential that they feel valued. For 2020, our first priority was to make our teams feel empowered and the next was to pool in right resources by taking advantage of the outsourced hub and that surely made business continuity a tad bit easier for Radixweb.
