PLANO, Texas - March 5, 2021 - PRLog -- Stronger Women is pleased to welcome Roció Ponce as the new Executive Director. The organization provides healing programing for victims and survivors of domestic violence and other forms of abuse.  Ms. Ponce brings a wealth of knowledge on Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Trauma Healing. She began her new position March 1, 2021.

"Survivors of domestic violence live all around us and they fail to recognize how beautiful they are. We need to get the word out and let them know they are worthy of being loved! We are thrilled to welcome Roció Ponce as her expertise and vision will help our ministry grow to the next level." says Dr. Brooke Jones, Founder and CEO of the organization.

As Executive Director of the agency, Roció Ponce will oversee and expand awareness, education and advocacy efforts regionally, nationally and internationally. She will develop creative and innovative programs for survivors of domestic violence and build stronger relationships with community groups, churches and other outreach organizations.

Roció Ponce stated, "Violence is never justified!  Dr. Brooke Jones' passion for this agency birthed a new vision into how we can equip leaders in the church to deal with issues of intimate partner violence and Brooke's writing has created numerous opportunities for victims and survivors to find healing. I am honored to join the current team and help her take this dream to the next level. Healing after violence is my passion."

Roció is passionate about supporting people on their individual journeys. She discovered her passion for serving victims of domestic violence as a BIPP [Batterers' Intervention and Prevention Program] facilitator. She has worked with batterers, victims of domestic violence, families through CPS, and clients experiencing the challenges of homelessness. She hones her skills by making space for clients to be known and celebrate the ways they purely reflect the image of God.

Roció holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Critical Languages and International Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington and is currently finishing her Master's in Social Work from Baylor University.  Learn more about Stronger Women at:  https://www.strongerwomen.com/
