New Multi-function £Multi-million lakehouse to launch at Naturhotel Forsthofgut in May 2021

The adults-only waldSPA Lakehouse overlooks the chemical-free swimming lake and offers 3 treatment rooms, a vast relaxation lounge with recliners and waterbeds and an authentic onsen washhouse linked to the onsen-style pool in the lake. More lake features include an infinity pool with whirlpool relaxation zones and floating Finnish lake sauna and natural plunge pool.

The Japanese Lakeside Restaurant's distinctive far eastern style is enhanced by al fresco dining on a huge terrace. The show-case kitchen prepares traditional Japanese dishes and Alpine-Japanese fusion creations, using organic ingredients.

Above the Japanese Restaurant, 3 contemporary Garden Loft Suites offer picture windows, pleasing colour schemes and a spacious sauna and loggia overlooking the lake and are enriched by surrounding mature trees, shrubs and overhanging foliage.

The hotel's original waldSPA reception is refurbished and offers new consultation booths, test counter, nail bar and shop - where a new Forsthofgut-Spa product line will be available.

The waldSPA family & kids has been upgraded and expanded to present a 21m indoor pool, kids' water-world, baby and toddler pools with a slide each, separate kids' pool with a 70m slide and speed-timer, and a play zone with fountains, geyzers and waterfalls. Also 2 sauna options offer a pine sauna (Murmeltier) for everyone and a textile sauna for 12years+.

A new parent & child playroom and a new nature studio for kids workshops are accessed from the link passage between the Lakehouse and original waldSPA.

The hotel also launches a new afternoon à la carte service to sun-loungers in the garden and strudelZEIT tea service as part of the half-board rate; daily childcare is also included (9am-9pm).
