Black Women Empowering Finances Hosts A Financial Literacy Month Event – "The 5 C's of Business Success""The 5 C's of Business Success" is an event where small business owners and entrepreneurs will have their questions answered and receive actionable advice on the topics of Communication, Consistency, Credit, Cash Flow and Coverage to help 2021 become their best year in business yet. Black Women owned businesses are the fastest growing segment of startups, growing by 164% from 2007-2018. Although black women owned businesses are growing, they still lack access to credit, capital, and mentors. And have average annual sales of $27,752, while all women owned businesses had average annuals sales of $143,731. Also, studies show that 81% of small business owners handle their own business' finances, with only 40% feeling financially literate, a 41% decline in black owned businesses, as well as the average net worth of a single black women being $5 now is the time to provide financial literacy events to help black women and small business owners achieve financial success.
