Identity Podcast Earth-Friendly Feat. Peacesake Candles & Co

The last episode featured the husband and wife duo, Eli & Valencia from Peacesake. Hosts Tarik and Caleb welcomed the two to discuss their brand, the process of creating sustainable candles, and what to expect from Peacesake in the near future.

Husband and wife Eli and Valencia Morr are the next guests on the Identity Podcast. From their love of candle making and creative vision into an earth-centric passion, they grew Peacesake Candles & Co.

When they started Peacesake, they had in mind a business that creates products that doesn't end up in landfills. So whatever they do, their main focus is using sustainable ingredients, packaging and materials that are recyclable, eco-friendly, and also shares their vision with customers by providing different ways to recycle and reuse each product.

On the backend, the duo are both wearing a lot of different hats which means not only making candles, but Valencia doing the accounting, researching and sourcing materials that are recyclable or biodegradable, and scent development, while Eli handles marketing, researching shows and events to participate in, and working on graphic, website, and packaging design. The couple covers production and making batches of candles and sprays as well as raising two 3-year-old twin boys. Just writing all that down seems like a lot, but they love it and are very grateful to do something they love.
