Lake Nona Social relaunches women's events with Sip & Flamingle

ORLANDO, Fla. - May 13, 2021 - PRLog -- Orlando, FL - With the comeback of signature event Sip & Flamingle on May 22, Lake Nona Social and their Lake Nona Moms branch are bringing back all of their women's events in the area.

Due to the pandemic, the popular team of Denee and Omar Hickman along with Juliana No who had been creating a series of events directed to a female audience in the area had to pause many of their initiatives. However, as things get back to normal, their famous events are back.

When they started in 2019, their goal was to give women networking events with a twist. Their first event in 2019 was a fun take on your regular sip & mingle events called Sip & Flamingle. This event sold out in 3 days and had about 100 women in it becoming the start of a series with the same concept: create an experience that allows women to network while having fun in a different setting.

After Sip & Flamingle came several events such as their Tiffany's Brunch at the Lake Nona Country Club or the Pretty in Pink event to raise money for breast cancer.

On May 22^nd, Sip & Flamingle reinvents itself from a glam cocktail party into a boho-chic outdoor event for women. 'We wanted to ensure that we were still outdoors and people could feel safe' said Omar Hickman, Founder of Lake Nona Social. 'Thanks to the amazing setting created at Nona Adventure Park this year we can give our guests the opportunity to be outdoors while still covered from the sun' said Denee.

Women can expect to find food from companies like Frutta Bowls Hunters Creek, Amai Sweet & Salty or Que Paella!, shopping experiences from different vendors, music, custom cocktails and different areas to mingle like the glam picnic area sponsored by Daisy's Party Rentals. Another thing guests will find are amazing desserts from companies like Cakes By Debs or Just Because Baking or several photo-ready locations by Bella Nona Events, Pooof Productions and A Bubbly Social. 'This was meant to be the ultimate fun evening for the ladies where we can do and have everything we love while getting to meet new women in the area' said Juliana No.
