"Feel Good, Work Good and Achieve International Success" is Theme for 8th Annual Small Biz Event

CORNELIUS, N.C. - May 22, 2021 - PRLog -- The Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce will celebrate small businesses with a live, two-night virtual event on May 26 and 27, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  The Total Business Wellness Feel Good, Work Good and Achieve International Success theme is FREE to attend (chamber members in North and South Carolina may contact the Lake Norman Chamber for a Zoom invitation).  Guests may also view the event broadcast LIVE on Facebook video on the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.

Small business is the backbone of America, with more than 30 million small businesses across the U.S. that employ close to 48% of the country's total workforce.  In North Carolina, the nation's ninth most populous state, there are over 930,000 small businesses, representing a majority of the total number of businesses in this state.  Bill Russell, President and CEO of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, along with Joe Vagnone, Small Business Broker and Host of WSIC Talk Radio's "Local Biz Now," will facilitate this year's All-Star line-up of exceptional guest speakers, in addition to recognizing some of the Chamber's most outstanding businesses in each of the towns, and honoring the 2021 Small Business of the Year at a special reception held at the Chamber on Wednesday, May 26th, at 4:00 PM.

Later that afternoon, North Carolina Senator, Thom Tillis will deliver a pre-recorded introduction to start the two-day program, followed by a line-up of the following guest speakers;

Steve Gilliland, motivational keynote speaker, author and member of the Speaker Hall of Fame.  Rebecca Heiss, PhD, will present INSTINCT: Rewiring your Brain to Increase Productivity and Achieve Success.  Chuck Gallagher, an American entrepreneur, speaker and author, will present "The Distinction Advantage: How to Thrive in a Highly Competitive World."  Danny Decker, leading marketing coach and author of Marketing Simplified.  Nicole Greer, the Vibrant Coach, business expert, and leading consultant.  Tracy Alston, a licensed clinical mental health counselor, mental fitness consultant, WSIC radio host of "Mental Fitness Matters," Entrepreneur and CEO of New Mentality.  Elizabeth Colen, health strategist and certified life coach and CEO of Ms. Fit One Lifestyles.
