Data Logger Utility App for New T&D 500B Series Adds Highly Sought After Wireless Features

SANTA FE, N.M. - May 25, 2021 - PRLog -- T&D Corporation, the only manufacturer of wireless and stand-alone data loggers providing free and unlimited cloud data storage, today announced the release of its T&D 500B Utility app. The RTR-500B Data Loggers Series companion app allows users to connect via Bluetooth^® and wirelessly set up or make changes to logger settings without needing a hardwire to a PC. This is a significant upgrade made possible by the updates to the RTR-500BW, which was released in the U.S. on December 17, 2021.  The Utility app is currently available on the Apple App Store.

"Removing the base unit from its monitoring location and connecting it to a PC to make changes is no longer required. When connecting to an RTR-500B through the Utility app, users will be able to immediately register both the data logger, repeaters and base units. The app also provides options to change basic settings, update transmission intervals, adjust the alert settings, retrieve log files from the data logger and check the firmware revision level on the unit.

- RTR500BW (base unit)
- RTR500B Series Data Loggers (remote units): RTR501B/502B/503B/505B/507B including L-type
- RTR500BC (repeater)
