Follow on Google News | Dr. Stout Joins Connect-OC Inaugural Advisory BoardFounded in 2020, The Connect-OC Coalition is a community of mental health providers and agencies, colleges and universities, and mental health peer leaders and advocates dedicated to improving the system of mental health care for the Transitional Age Youth and Young Adult population in Orange County. Focused on aligning existing efforts, the Coalition's goal is to connect the mental health community in Orange County, foster collaboration, expand referral pathways, and bridge the gaps in mental health services for teens, young adults and their families. "After 30 years of working and volunteering in OC," said Dr. Stout, "it's an honor to be able to start giving back to the next group of professionals serving those in need in the County". Dr. Dallas Stout is a member of the faculty at California State University Fullerton, The University of Arizona Global Campus, and Brigham Young University, Idaho where he teaches a variety of undergraduate & graduate courses in Psychology, Human Services, and Child Development as well as Non-Profit Principles, Practices, Governance & Finance. Dr. Stout has worked in the non-profit community in Southern California for 30 years including many years leading the Counties' largest adolescent residential drug rehab and sober high school. Today he uses his experience to assist a variety of non-profit programs in Southern California thru DoctorS Nonprofit Consulting which he co-founded with his wife Dr. Debbie Stout in 2004.
